With a more athletic, modern image reminiscent of a Lexus model, Toyota is expected to release the stylish 2007 Camry Hybrid, a 4-cylinder
automobile powered by Hybrid Synergy Drive, which offers the highest level of performance ever achieved in a Camry for both fuel efficiency and low emissions.
At the heart of this model is a special 2.4-liter 4-cyl gas engine with a battery-powered electric motor for roughly 192 HP. Like Toyota's smaller Prius,
the Camry Hybrid is a full hybrid, which means it can operate under electric power only, gas power only, or a combination of both, depending on conditions.
On the outside, the 2007 Camry Hybrid offers a sleeker shape with a two-inch longer wheelbase, giving it a much more luxurious look, as well as halogen
headlamps, and smart keyless entry. The interior offers upscale features such as a tire-pressure monitoring system, Bluetooth connectivity, a 440-watt
premium audio system (MP3 and WMA compatible, with auxiliary input for an iPod), push-button starting, dual climate control, and an in-dash multi-function
trip computer display - all standard. Some of the available options include a moon roof, voice-activated navigation system, leather-trimmed interior,
and heated seats. 
On top of the standard safety features for all Camry models - antilock 4-wheel disc brakes, front torso side airbags, head-protecting curtain side
airbags, and driver's knee airbag - the Hybrid adds antiskid/traction control, all of which is orchestrated by the Vehicle Dynamic Integrated
Management (VDIM) system.
With the threat of rising gas prices, the Hybrid Camry model, which boasts an EPA rating of 40 miles to the gallon, and gives you around 700 miles
between visits to the gas station, may be the remedy.
