Tesla production release delayed.

While the company waits for crash test and durability ratings to return, the company will most likely miss the September production release of their very much anticipated Tesla roadster. The 600 or so customers who have already sent in their deposits will have to sit on the edge of their seats a little bit longer.

In other Tesla news, the founding CEO, Martin Eberhard, has stepped down from his position and new interim CEO, Michael Marks, has stepped in to head the Silicon Valley start up. Marks,  former CEO of Flextronics, was an early investor in Tesla Motors.
